Terms
Short version: be decent to your crew. Anything abusive gets removed, and so does the account behind it.
Who can use it
You need to be 13 or older, and you need an account — Sign in with Apple, or a code sent to your email. One account per person. Do not pretend to be someone else.
You are responsible for what you post and write, and for keeping access to your account to yourself.
Zero tolerance for abusive content
None of this, ever:
- Harassment, bullying, threats, or hate speech.
- Nudity or sexual content. Anything sexual involving a minor is reported to the authorities.
- Impersonating another person.
- Posting someone else’s photo, or anyone’s photo taken without their knowledge.
- Anything illegal.
Anyone who does these things loses their account. We do not warn first.
Reporting and blocking
Any member can report a print or a note from the ⋯ menu, and can block another member. Blocking hides that person’s content from you in both directions.
A reported print is hidden right away, before anyone looks at it. We review reports within 24 hours and remove what breaks these terms, along with the account that posted it.
Your content
Your prints and notes stay yours. You give us permission to store them and show them to the crews you posted them to, so the app can work — nothing more. We do not use your photos to advertise, to train anything, or anywhere outside your crews.
That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.
Using the app fairly
Do not try to break the app, get at other people’s data, scrape it, or automate accounts. Crews are capped at ten people; do not try to work around the caps and hourly limits — they are the game.
Ending it
You can delete your account at any time in Settings, and it is gone for good. We can suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms, and we will say why unless the law stops us.
The app itself
Rope & Banana is provided as is. It is a small app made by one person: it may change, break, lose data, or stop existing. Do not use it as the only place a photo lives. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for what happens if it fails.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, we will say so in the app before it takes effect. Carrying on using the app after that means you accept the new version.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Nothing here removes rights you have that cannot be signed away.
